The deodorant project was about making a genderless brand series as a lot of products in the world are heavily applied to certain genders. So, my job was to make a series of products that are genderless. I opted to use deodorant because I had a play on word choice and the fact that my design is colored based on scents. I had chosen Non-Scented, Lemon Cucumber, and Apple Cinnamon as my smells because at the time, I felt those were the most liked. I had asked a few people I knew what type of deodorant scent they used or wished they had. However, Apple Cinnamon was not a scent that was commonly used. I just wanted to use it as a play on to the time of year I had begun that class which was Fall. With the project, I made a custom logo font and used Helvetica as the body of the rest of the font.
