This project was a freelance project I had taken up over the summer and into the course of the Fall 2021 semester. This project was a freelance project as well as a personal project for it was the beginning of giving one of my own horses a brand. When coming up with the logo, my client (my Mom) had no idea what to look at. So, I digitally came up with designs in Procreate on my IPad with them there that would I felt really went with our horse. We went through various colors to try to find the style. I made a few handmade doodles until we ultimately went for the font called Gotcha StandUp by Nicky Laatz. His font didn’t exactly have the correct feel the client was looking for so I went into illustrator and cleaned it up in order for it to become the logo you see today. The sword that goes into the S and R was created as a way to show off and connect to the upcoming Celtic branding the barn name will soon have as the design for that is on its way.
