Caslon Type Project

Adobe Caslon Pro project was a two part series of where we created a poster and a zinebook. How we came about this project was we claimed a paper from a hat an old font that was not commonly used and suspected to be lost through time. How I created this assignment was first looking up the information about what Adobe Caslon was, who  created it, how old the font was, what objects  commonly used these fonts through time and so forth and apply that knowledge into my zinebook. I chose a shade of teal as my color choice because informational signs on the side of the road are close to this shade of green. Now to continue the consistancy, I applied that green into my poster with the detail of Adobe Caslon Pro with the variations of the font and what the font looks like now throughout the course of history as the font was constantly revised and updated through the years. You can find the latest font style on Adobe Fonts created by Carol Twombly. For this assignment, I used only Adobe Caslon Pro.
